It was well-written, but I didn't quite get it... I know Nick helped give her a better life, but what exactly did he risk? Maybe I'm just stupid... *lol*

Summary: All his life Nick Carter was treated as the baby of the group. As he got older, everyone, especially Kevin, would constantly tell him to ?grow up? or ?start acting your age?. Now at the age of 26, Nick is feeling that he will never evolve into a man like Kevin. But when he meets an unruly young girl, he immediately finds himself thrust into the very position as the eldest band mate while he attempts to manage the female version of his younger self. The duo began their journey together in learning lessons of maturity. With noticeable changes in both their lives, the boys come to grip with the fact that Nick?is growing up.

Wow... this story is a breath of fresh air from most other fan fics! I love how the main character isn't the just another Mary Sue, but how she seems like a real person with a sort of individual charm. And I like the part about the piano man, how she mentions she doesn't know what he looks like, but she knows it's always the same guy. Adds yet another emotional connection with the story. ^^ Hope you update soon!

Aww... this is such a well-written story. The whole AJ crying over the movie thing was pretty funny. :-P But I feel bad for Nick, mostly because I think a lot of it is true. His career is nowhere near where it used to be, and what does he have to show for it now? A reality show? Poor guy. :( Keep up the good work!

Author's Response: yeah, that\'s pretty much how i think nick\'s life is going at the moment, too...i always thought AJ would be unabashed about crying in front of people and getting emotional, so i thought i\'d add that in there! thanks for reading!
