Waiting for this was definitly worth it. I'm so happy you updated this story. I can't wait for the scene when Brian and Nick meet again. Poor, poor Brian, then again I like these kind of stories, so I'm really thankful you wrote it.

I wonder what is going on with Nick there, that connection reminds me of Demona and MacBeth from Disney Gargoyles. It's a sweet little touch that connection :)

Oh... they finally met up. I can't wait for the next chapter really...

I wonder how Brian will end up coming out of this. If there will be any permanent damage or if he will fully recover. Whatever it will be it will be probably very emotionally and intrestingly written, so I'm looking forward to it :)

That was a really strong scene. I liked how you portray AJs struggle and Brian just slowly dying really. It's quite dramatic and so sad, so exactly the kind of stuff and story I like...

I'm always excited for the new chapter, cause I can't wait to see how it continues. What you do great is interactions between the characters, they seem sweet and are well written :)

Wow I have been waiting so much for this chapter. I knew it would come to this a few chapters ago already, I still wanted to read it for myself. I love how you described AJ again.

He's turning to one of my favorite characters in this story. Now this is the point of the story where I don't know what could happen in the next chapters anymore, so I will let myself be surprised :)

Author's Response: I kinda gave it away, didn't I? Oh, well, had still fun writing it out though ^^ And yeah, AJ's my favourite character here too, sorry Bri...

So I finally find the time to review. And this chapter was quite impressive. I wouldn't be able to write something like that, hospital scenes in general seem difficult to me.

You did this quite well and we learn alot about those characters even tho we have never met them before. No you have me wondering if Brian will survive or not. No matter what the outcome is tho, it will be intresting to read the aftermath.

Author's Response: I must admit, it was quite a challenge for me too. But after watching a lot of ER, I decided to give it a shot ^^ I do doubt that it is entirely realistic though. I originally didnt want it to be this bad though, wanted to shrug the hypothermia off fairly easily. But after actually doing research on hypothermia, there is no way you can soak up snow for six hours and be just fine.

To be honest I am not a huge fan of supernatural stuff. But despite the fact that the connection is going a bit too far for my taste, I still enjoy reading the story.

I'm still waiting for a new chapter all the time, cause it is really intrestingly written and you give all your characters lines and really paint them out.

I am kinda curious what happens with Kevin now, Nick seems to be angry with him, that would make an intresting plot point. And AJ... I wonder what he is thinking right now... so all in all, keep writing. Maybe I'll warm up to the supernatural stuff as it goes on too ;)

Author's Response: The supernatural element isnt supposed to be the main point in this particular story. I might make a sequel with that eventually though, lol. As far as this story goes, we won't see that much of the connection between them after another chapter or so, and it won't swallow the whole plot point. I wanted to stay close to the characters, without getting too far from reality.

Aww... this of course made me think of Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely, the video. Poor Kevin, I feel really sorry for him. It must be a terrible thing, to visit a friend who seems to be dying in hospital.

I'm so curious for the outcome. Even tho in the back of my head I think I know what it will be, I don't know the details. Curious not only for how Brians health developes, but also for how the group dynamic does.

I'll keep reading :)

Oh my god, I kinda wish the story would continue this way. But I got a feeling his heart will start to beat again next chapter. ;) But like I said I love it either way, no matter where it goes. Both ideas got intresting aspects one could focus on. Different kind of drama and I'm sure you could write either path well..

If this were a computer game I would put my savegame here, so I could play both paths... but since it is not I will let you surprise me :)

Author's Response: soooo, you actually WANT him to die? :) We'll see if that happens...

This reminds me alot of a cartoon show I used to see when I was younger, since it showed before Sailor Moon. Meeting other people in their dreams, if only that were possible.

So... I understand that Nick wants to help Brian, but what can he really do outside of the dream world? He is not a doctor, so I'm curious what he will do.

Sorry that I first now come to comment! I had quite the stressful week. But now it's time to thank you again for giving me something to read in those stressful days. I really enjoy the story as a whole. I just simply can't wait for every new chapter.

What I particulary liked about this one was how AJ was there. And how you just described Brian waking up slowly. You wrote this so well..

I hope the tension between the members of the group continues a while longer cause it's really intresting to read and would make for an intresting plot point, next to Brian without legs of course.

Wonder when Nick will show up. In this story AJ seems so much better of a friend atm as Nick! Not that I would mind it, I mean I love Frick & Frack, but AJ is cool too ;)

Mh... Nick seems so cold here. I feel he should think a little about his behaviour.

Well I'm curious tho what "let's just get this over with..", actually means. Will he go see Brian or will he and Howie fight in Mortal Kombat style?

It's also so sad to read how the relationship of them two is not as it used to be.

It's quite the emotional read and it makes me hope, that Brian is not really going through this pain.

I thank you alot for writing this, there are not many stories with Brian out there. I really like how you portrait his relationship with Nick too...

It's not much that is happening between them, but enough to show how strong their friendship really is.

People often don't realize, that alot of what Brian does, might simply be putting on a mask. I can't imagine that it doesn't bother him just a tiny bit...

I'm really curious for the documentary, but while I wait I'm happy to read stories like this :)
