Hi! My name is Melissa, but most of my friends call me Mel for short. I've been writing fan fiction on and off since I was 16 and I'm now almost 23, so I've definitely came a LONG way in my writing lol. Still though I've yet to ever finish anything. (Well outside of two stories WAAAY back but they were horrible! lol) I live in NY about an hour from NYC and I'm going to school to become an elementary/ special ed teacher.I've been a fan of BSB since I was 15 and Nick has always been my favorite. I've had the pleasure of meeting Brian, AJ, and Nick in the past, but the only one I have a picture is with AJ.

I'm back with the internet so hopefully i can finish reading and reviewing before school really gets under way for me. Something tells me that Nick is right and this is not the last we've seen of Dr. Rough. That is way too anticlimatic for him to go out like that. I was a little confused with the Brian and Opal scene where he lkept referring to her as, "Ashvari." Is that her real name? You girls and your gory violence! You kill me! LOL



Author's Response: Welcome back, Mel, and thanks for the review! Yep, Opal's real name is Ashavari. And I dunno if you were an ER fan, but we had to do a little homage to ER with the helicopter arm choppage there LOL. Thanks again!

So glad to hear that Brian is okay and that the antidote worked. It is also nice to see some bonding between Brian and Nick. Perhaps this just might be the turning point of their relationship.

HA LOL! That WAS kind of funny! Well, nice wrap up of this episode. I knew that Dr. Rough was still alive. I think the next episode may have something more to do with the aliens. If my hunch about Donnie is correct there may be more aliens out there to deal with.



Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah, there was no way we could kill off Dr. Rough that easily. He's my favorite character; I would miss him too much LOL. The aliens will be back, although not in the next episode yet. Ooh... I'm also a HUGE Olympic junkie so I have a feeling I might like this episode too. Lancy is cracking me up with the figure skating and the "What would Brian Boitano too." I'm sure FANS is involved in this, but I wonder why kidnap a figure skater?

As usual I am loving the fact that hyou are using REAL figure skaters and REAL facts about them which is kind of neat. And OMG I totally forgot about those God awful mascots!



Author's Response: Thanks! This episode was a fun challenge because it was kind of last minute; we scrapped another idea we had planned and came up with the Olympics idea about two months before the actual 2010 Winter Olympics, and of course, we wanted to be timely and have the episode ready to post then, so we actually got our act together and wrote it in two months, which is impressive for us. We had to research ahead of time who the top skaters probably we were going to be, and we might slight changes to reflect who actually qualified, but Kim Yu-Na was our girl all along, so it was exciting to see her actually win at the real Olympics. I've always loved watching the figure skating, but it was especially fun after doing all this research for this episode LOL. Thanks for noticing and appreciating it! And OMG, we were so amused by the mascots!

Aww man... I wanted to know what she as having! Lol I'm impatient I guess. I wouldn't be able to resist not knowing I think. So she has very strong willpower. I can definitely relate to Casey with the whole not working up to her "schedule." It's really hard to stick to a solid plan throughout college cuz so many curveballs are being thrown your way. It's frustrating when you seem to be progressing at a slower rate than your friends. I definitely know what that's like.

I'm a lil surprised though at how quickly her and Nick hooked up though. From the first chapter I wouldn't have pictured it like this. I hope this takes a better turn than most stories that start out with Nick and a girl meeting a club, heavily making out in a cab, and having sex in the beginning. Thanks for pointing out the time frame. I probaly would not have picked up on it otherwise.



Author's Response: Yeah, I mean its really hard \"when you fall behind\" especially when there are friends who you are being compared to. This is what I was nervous about, it was hard for me to decide if Nick and Casey should hook up so soon but Im hoping the next chapter smoothes over the situation. We\'ll see if their relationship differs from the typical \"Nick and a girl in a club.\" Oh, the time frame should become more obvious within the next chaps. Thanks for R&R, Mel! :D\r\n

I was going to review this last night, but I forced myself to get an update out before I did. Well, it seems like Casey and Nick have a common bond with their parents and all. Something tells me that Nick isn't this friendly with all his one night stands which makes me wonder what's different about Casey? Can't wait to see as their friendship progresses.

And yes now I definitely do see that this takes place in the B&B days lol.

Date: 09/19/08 Title: Chapter 9: Nine: Totally Oblivious

Oh my... This is certainly turning into a fine mess! As soon as I heard Brian liked her too, I had to admit that at first i was like Oh no... Don't let Steph go down the "Mary Sue/ Every guy in the story is n love with Dani" route, but for the purposes of the story it definitely works. Can't wait to see whar Dani and Nick do about their new found feelings for each other.
