Hi! My name is Melissa, but most of my friends call me Mel for short. I've been writing fan fiction on and off since I was 16 and I'm now almost 23, so I've definitely came a LONG way in my writing lol. Still though I've yet to ever finish anything. (Well outside of two stories WAAAY back but they were horrible! lol) I live in NY about an hour from NYC and I'm going to school to become an elementary/ special ed teacher.I've been a fan of BSB since I was 15 and Nick has always been my favorite. I've had the pleasure of meeting Brian, AJ, and Nick in the past, but the only one I have a picture is with AJ. Nick Carter is the next celebrity to jump on the bandwagon of dating shows. But the only thing he’s planning on finding is publicity.
She wasn't planning on finding love. She didn't even plan on going on the show in the first place.
Haha... Love it so far! As a single gal I can totally relate to Em and I still have "Margarita Mondays" and "Wine Down Wednesday's" too! lol I definitely laughed quite a few times throughout this chapter. Going to read more now.
This sounds so cheesy and I love it! Loved the description of the carnival theme, it so belongs on one of these shows. I also kind of love the fact that Carson Daly is hosting this. Where has he been? LOL Love it!
The funny thing about Carson is that I started this story about a year ago thinking that same thing. And now he popped up on The Voice. I still think he's a lot like I write him.
Ha that sounds kind of like my room when I was 15! LOl jk Yea it definitely sounds like the theming is a bit much. Em is REALLY cracking me up. I can't wait until the bitch claws on the other girls come out.
Haha loved the part about how she felt sparks when she really just shocked him. Very cute! Can't wait to read more about the actual competitions and stuff.
Loved the first date. Ugh I just wanted to smack Kelsey. I hope she goes home next! Somehow I think Em is safe for a while. She's got those shoes on lock lol. I can totally relate to her too. I also wonder what it would be like to be tall lol. Great job!

Awww.... I love this concept! I wish I had one of those timers! Life would be SOOO much easier, but knowing my luck I'd be like Nick and there wouldn't be a date. I hope Nick figures it out soon!
Wow... Interesting issues there. I wonder how Anna is going to react when she finds out and what Howie will do if his timer says that they aren't meant to be.
Aww poor Nick... I'd imagine the timers would be really popular among woman. There's bound to be someone in between though who would at least date him for the companionship.

That's kind of ridiculous that Trina's boyfriend is moving out just because of his timer zeroing out. Maybe he's meant to be with that chick AJ hooked up with LOL. For a second I thought that maybe she didn't have a timer. Maybe Nick's is like broken or something?
It's still crappy that Karin never called AJ to at least tell him that she was back in town. Ugh...

I heard some good things about this story over on the forums so I decided to check it out. Ha! I love that this is from Nick's POV and I liked how you breifly introduced his relationships with the other guys. Nick is so excited about this, it's really cute! And I have a feeling that Nick probably still would've had girls screaming for him to take his shirt off no matter what he looked like underneath! lol
