Sorry, sorry. I'm laughing like an immature 10 year old, but this is the second time the word "cockeyed" has been used to describe Nick, and I'm just getting such hilariously WRONG mental images from it. Don't mind me and my dirty, 10 year old mind :P

I also enjoy all the pop culture (Glee, HP, etc) references as well as the ones to the two of you (People of Walmart and Code Red Mountain Dew). And yes, I'm typing this review as I read lol

Well, Brian, I'm a woman and I hate rain, so let's not go stereotyping. Speaking of rain, I think it's supposed to rain here tomorrow. UGHHHH.

Also, no, Brian, you're not lonely. You're just horny. It HAS been 6 months after all. BUT YAY! Wouldn't it be cute if they got together? Wouldn't it be awesome if Gretchen gave birth to the first post zombie apocalypse baby (because you know all the birth control pills would have expired and no longer work, okay? work with me here!) :D

Wow. I reached the end. I feel...sad. At least this chapter doesn't have a depressing ending, so yay! Thanks for all the hard work, just so I can sit here on a Friday night and play catch up:)

Okay, 1. Nick thinks Glee is an original show, first of its kind, and is awesome? Excuse me, I need to go vomit. (sorry, I hate Glee. I'm sure you both know that it grates on my former choir-girl nerves lol) and 2. What's up with the zombies? Are they getting stronger? What's up with the odd noises? Why do I have more questions than answers from this story?!

I liked that you didn't drag out their whole will they-won't they bit and just had them jump right into it and acknowledge their feelings, including the guilt. So yay!

WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT THE ROBINS ARE BACK?! Is it connected to the weird noises that the zombies made when Riley shot them? Is the Osiris virus wearing off and turning zombies back into people?



Author's Response: LOL! Thanks! We like the touch of romance, but we didn't want to turn it all melodramatic soap opera, with them going back and forth over it. It's still a zombie story, first and foremost - we don't have time for all that "feelings" crap LOL. There's no big mystery behind the robins - they're back because they've realized the base is relatively zombie-free now, compared to most other areas, so they've made it their sanctuary too. As for the weird noises... stay tuned, and you'll find out! :)

Then again, it might not be a good idea for her to be pregnant, since she's already had a miscarriage, and Jo's dead so no medical expertise either if something starts to go wrong. I mean, can you imagine Nick trying to play midwife? lol

Also, I doubt they have or know which meds to use for epidurals, so Gretchen would have to give birth the old-fashioned way...HORRORS. THE PAIN. THE SUFFERING.

ahahah have you two been reading that "why the zombie apocalypse wouldn't last?" article i sent you a while back? you know, the one about how the zombies would eventually bloat and die off? because it's sounding like that's what's going on...unless the problem is actually getting worse, in which case, i bet they're all just going to die. that's how the two of you will end the story...or you'll go the opposite direction and make it one of those "the sun rose as we stepped out into a new day in a new world where the zombies were dying off and we are all that's left of the human race, etc etc"...but WAIT. You never told us what happened to the rest of the world! Like, is all of Europe zombified, too? What about Asia and, ooh, Australia! Did Australia get the Osiris Virus since they're so far away from everything? Holy crap, huge review. I'll stop now lol YAY for so many chapters in so little time! Whoop whoop :)

Awww yay! i'm glad they're all home and together! Also, I'm starting to think that, with all the sex both Nick/Riley and Brian/Gretchen are having, somebody's bound to end up with a bun in the oven...maybe both of them lol

Did I ever mention how much I love the Kevin/Gabby relationship? Well, I do! It's so cute how he's practically like her dad...but I wish Kevin had a woman of his own in this story. Are you sure you can't conjure up another survivor from somewhere? Sigh.

You guys are on a roll with all of these updates! Yay-sicles :)

I didn't know if we got to play that up enough before Kevin left with Nick and Riley, so I'm glad you noticed that relationship. Kevin could use a woman... so could Howie and AJ... but I think if we'd had the only survivors of the zombie apocalypse be five beautiful women to match up with the five gorgeous Backstreet Boys, it would have been a little too gag-worthy perfect. So between you, Julie, Mare, Pengi, and the ending of Julilly's Hawk and a Handsaw, you've all managed to suck me back into a fanfic-dom that I thought I'd peaced out of two years ago! *sigh* I suppose not.

This story is really, really good! Comparing it to what I remember of your writing the last time I read it, your writing is even better than it was before and I'm super impressed! It's hard to get better than awesome :P

Of course, Nick is sick and he's being stubborn and Nick-ish, and I wish he'd just tell Brian, at least, what is going on! Well, at least he told Kevin, right? Maybe soon he'll tell someone else...maybe.

Anyway, awesome job, and I can't wait for the next update!
