I'm a single mother of two beautiful children. And as you can see, my stories are of Nick Carter/Backstreet Boys. Yes, I have an infatuation with Nick, lol. I love to read fan fic about him and the other Boys but mostly Nick stories. I'm still fairly new at the whole authur business and am still learning. But I am looking forward to posting new things that may pop into my mind. I seem to do better with short stories and have just recently posted my first long story. We'll see how that goes. That girl needs a serious wake up call...or smack up-side the head. Maybe Nick would be better off without her, no matter how much he loves her...that's too much to ask of anyone. Great chapter..I had tears in my eyes...Can't wait for the next one!
Author's Response: She has just lost a baby remember. I know she was a bit crazy with running away before but she is going through a really difficult time! Feel sad for her! It will all become a lot clearer within the next few chapters I promise you might even start to like her again, for a while at least! LOL! Thanks for the review!
I know I got slammed with my last review of Addie...but I agree with Southern Sweetheart and I stand by what I said last time. Yes, she lost a baby..she's grieving BUT so is Nick. And her running to Nepal is NOT the way to go about it. I'm also with her when she said the got pissed when Addie said Mollie defined their relationship. If that's how she see it, then, like I said before, maybe Nick is better off without her. Nick has overcome a lot of his demons dealing with this and has showen great strides...Addie on the other hand, is going down a dark, dark, road. THAT is what therapy is about. They could go TOGETHER and work this out...TOGETHER. She's just too damn chickenshit to deal with it. I see the trip to Nepal as yet another way to avoid dealing with the situation. She can go down there, dive into her work and avoid the whole thing. I hardly believe its the best thing for them; it will only drive them farther apart..A year? Come on....
But, other than that, great chapter. Addie really does need a big dose of reality tho...but you write this beautifully. The angst is there and makes your heart just go out to them both. Well done!
I didn't mean to slam you for disliking Adie in the last review. I dislike her a lot of the time too but people do strange things when death is involved.
You are completely right in what you said about her grieving, she has totally lost sight of Nick in a big way. But I think she is completely right in what she is trying to do because if she has lost sight of who she is, how can she be in a relationship? She is going away to try and figure that out.
Nick has completely done a 180 from the start of this story. There is a huge growth in him and in the next chapter he is going to do something huge, something that you will not be expecting (It's a good thing!) I think everyone will be really proud of him.

But I'm so glad to see that Adie is finally getting her head out of her ass and going after what is due to her AND to Nick...thinking of someone else besides herself. Great chapter and I'll be sitting on pins and needles till the next one!

....wow.....just....wow! How in the HELL can she just act like nothing is wrong? Just come waltzing in like that and think everything is back to normal? She's walked out on him what? twice? three times now and she...god words are not coming to mind right now. I am glad he didn't hit her tho...but she needs to let him go cool off. She's made this mess....now she had to deal with the consequences of it....Poor Nick..I really have conflicting emotions on how I want this to end...

I'm glad he didn't hit her, I don't think they could have recovered from something like that, I think he would have been too guilt ridden to work through it, you will see how he feels in the next chpater. I think she needed to see it though, she needed to see how frustrated she had made him.

Oh he will go. I think just for the simple fact that she said she has lots to talk about. That is what he was looking for. And realizing that she's right...that they are trapped in a car he might finally get the answers he was looking for. This is what they should have done instead of her going to Nepal.
I can't wait till the next chapter to see what he decides and how it turns out! Thanks for the quick update....do it again!! lol
