I tried it with a few of my stories.  I mostly got Anne Rice, Agatha Christie and Arthur C Clarke.  I did get Stephen King for a chapter of Save A Prayer though lol.

Rose shared this on Twitter, and I had fun playing with it too:
You paste some of your writing into the box, and it will analyze your writing style and word choice to see which famous writer you write like.

It says to post at least a few paragraphs, but I recommend posting a full chapter of a story because it seems to be more consistent that way.  I tried it with several stories, and when I was just posting a few paragraphs, I got a different result almost every time - Stephen King, Margaret Atwood, Cory Doctorow, Stephen King again, and Agatha Christie.  When I switched to posting full chapters, I got Agatha Christie every time, regardless of what kind of story I was posting.  I think that's funny because she is best known for mysteries, and I'm terrible at writing mysteries, but hey, I'll take it!

Post your results here after you've tried it!

LMAO I love this whole post!  Thanks so much, Kristal!  Those are all great questions... that will be answered at some point in the next 7 chapters... stay tuned! Wink  In all seriousness, thanks for reading and taking time to give feedback; I really appreciate it!

Is AJ paralyzed?!
Does Kevin lose his leg?!
Does Howie have bleeding on the brain?!
Is Nick's pain actually internal bleeding that is now only gone because of the cold water?
These are things I need to know ASAP. I've never really been the patient one. LOL

Oh by the way, I'm now reading Heroic Measures.  Cheesy

That boat trip sounds great! Yes, the crew were probably telling stories, but that's all part of the fun isn't it.  I've never seen Stonehenge, but it's one of those places I'll get around to seeing one day.

Thanks, Steph!  LOL You know when the van goes into the river and it's only Chapter 2, they're not gonna be just fine. Stick out tongue   I definitely had some fun at Lou's expense in this story, so you're only awful if I am LOL.  Thanks so much for the feedback!

Aww, I'm sad you can't go this summer, Steph!  I went to Loch Ness when I was there in 2005, and the boat we went on had a Nessie decal on the window below the boat deck so that if you lined up your camera right, you could take a pic out the window that looked like the famous "surgeon's photo."   It also had a sonar system, and the boat captain told us about once a month or so, they would see a big shape moving in the water that they weren't sure what it was.  He was probably lying and playing it up because we were tourists, but it's fun to believe!

I really want to go back to the UK and go to England and Wales!  We mostly just toured all around Scotland and went to Ireland when I was over there before, but there is so much stuff in London I want to see!  I would love to see Stonehenge as well.  Someday!

Iíve only been to Europe once. I went to London when I was in high school. It was a London and the theater tour so we saw several plays but also went to Stonehenge too. I would love to visit Scotland, Wales and Ireland one day.
