So I started with this, like you suggested, and I cannot stop reading! Your portrayal of Nick is so great, and Liv sounds like such an awesome girl. This was my dream in high school, lol. God Nick is so damn sexy with his sexual innuendos!!!! Gonna go and continue the rest!!

I was so excited to get through work today to read the next chapter, and I have to say, I love it! I love the relationship between Nick and Brian, and the slight jump into the future. The imagery is amazing, I love it! Question, have you ever considered writing professionally?
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Um...actually I have, and I want to someday, when I finish a story I feel is...ready? So to speak...so I kind of dream of it. I'm so flattered you asked me that! I second guess myself a lot lol.
Oh my God. It is 1AM and I have read this in its entirety. This is my fave story on here. Your character development is flawless. Your descriptions of every little thing are fantastic. I sit here glued to my screen as I got chapter after chapter. I LOVE Nick's character in this, esp. since it probably mirrors how he is today. Also appreciate the fact that events happen in the present. And I MELT for Nick's flirtations, I really really do. Please update when you can!!

I love Jake. I was kind of anti-kids for a while, but now I'm thinking I wouldn't mind a little blond Jake of my own, haha. Also, I know someone had mentioned that they hoped this wasn't the typical Nick finds true love in old flame kinda story, but I really hope he and Shay end up together. I keep rooting for her this whole time. Just your average, caring, down to earth normal girl. With an extremely sexy guy at her side, haha. I love how you've developed Nick's character throughout this entire story. He's getting so much sexier with each chapter. And what I would do to touch those hands of his, haha. :) Great chapter, honestly cannot wait for another update!
Author's Response: Well I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long - by my calculations maybe an hour and a half? haha. Anyhow, I love kids so it's hard for me not to slip an adorable one into a story. Jake's taking the cake though. :) The thing I love about reviews is the differing opinions that I get. It's always hard for me not to get involved in the 'debate,' but to do so would be to totally defeat the purpose of dragging this story on and keeping you all hanging! :) I think no matter how you cut it, Nick stories fall into two commonly used categories - there's been a flood of Nick/Lauren stories lately and then there's the traditional boy meets girl. So, it's still in the air where this ones going to fall!
Wow, haha, 2 chapters! I swear I breeze through this like it's nothing! I honestly am boggled at how REAL this all feels. I think Lauren was right on this one. I always said, how do you know you want to marry someone when you've got what ifs in the air, especially when it involves another individual. This is kinda like the episode of Boy Meets World where Cory needs to choose between Topanga and oddly enough, Lauren. I hope he makes the right decision! Also, the whole Shay losing her job thing is exciting - I can't wait to see what she chooses to do next! Loved these updates!
Ahh, the rocket and green bean part is adorable. :) I love how close Jake's become to Nick. And the suspense is killing me...when are Nick and Shay going to kiss?! This story is the best...I don't want it to ever end.

Haha @ the what did you do. Of course they'd all blame Nick. I think the Jake/Nick thing is the cutest thing ever. I only hope Nick's as good of a father as you've made him out to be in this story. I'm so happy you're updating so frequently! I've actually moved on to reading some of your earlier stuff (now reading She Wants Me', lol) waiting on these updates. Are you thinking of starting another one? I would love to start writing again, but I work like 9-forever, so it's hard to get back into it. But you're definately fueling that writing urge again with this one!

In His Shoes is a collab with Pengi, Slashed is a fantasy one that I'm dying to get back to (I've got a lot posted right now), and then I have a Coaster Girls story (Pieces of Me), and a semi original fic, Friends with Benefits. :) I also made a banner last night for another story that's screaming to be written called 'The Games We Play' with Brian and Nick. Unfortuantely a little thing called school is getting in the way!
Ahh, I'm so addicted to this story! I can't wait until Nick gets back and sees Shay! I love them together, their family thing is so cute :)

Geez, you just made what could have possibly been the typical sex scene into something so unique. Haha. Is it dirty to say that I totally pictured me and Nick? Jesus, that was hot. Your descriptions of Nick are flawless. Right down to his smiles and his laughs. I seriously can just close my eyes and picture him right there. Oh, and kudos on the hands. I always thought he had the most amazing hands ever. I'm so glad, though, that he was so mature in this decision about both girls. It definately wasn't the expected thing to do. Can't wait for more! :)

OMG, they're like the perfect family. I'm like SO in love with Nick's character in this. He's so damn perfect (even though I know he isn't really, but seems like it). I actually almost cried, lol. But, like all good things, this is probably too good to be true. Anxiously waiting for an update!
AHH! Is this the end? I don't want this story to end. And I looooved when Nick said "she radiates from the heart and it's pulling me in." Awe man, I love Nick.
SPEECHLESS. Ah, I can't believe it's over. And another baby! After everything, I just want to say that you are an AMAZING writer. I have literally lived this entire story out, sometimes even re-reading chapters while waiting for updates. This felt so real, as if it was a couple of my friends playing out their lives in front of my eyes. Great, great, great job. Now it's time for me to read some of your older stories! Haha.

I'm so addicted to this story - please keep writing! I read all 17 chapters on Sunday night and was hoping you'd add more soon! I gotta say, Nick as an authority figure (boss, teacher, cop, etc.) is one of my craziest fantasies! Haha. I LOVE his character in this. Please keep writing! Your 1st person POVs are the best. :)
