I'm glad Brian is finally starting to open up to Mac, but I have a feeling what he just witnessed is about to make things a lot more uncomfortable again. I think *someone* is jealous.
I feel bad for Mac, though. Everything she thought about the Boys has been totally destroyed. AJ turned out NOT to be her Prince Charming. Brian is no longer the fun-loving prankster of the group. Nick is just a total man-whore. Well, maybe THAT isn't so shocking after all.
Great job guys! Keep up the awesome work. I can't wait for another chapter.

You do have to admit, though, that Baylee really is quite the charmer - and the kid just turned 5 two months ago. You just KNOW he's gonna be a heartbreaker when he grows up - but his dad WILL make sure he is raised with morals and shows respect, so it's all good.

YES! It's about time! I was getting a little frustrated with Brian myself. I'm surprised Mac was able to hold back her anger for so long. But hey, I can't be too mad because it led to that kiss.

LMAO I was squeamish writing it and it was still barely PG-13 and a fade to black kind of thing. Then I had to write an attack scene, which are always difficult. I was soooooooooooo nervous writing this chapter. But I\'m really glad you liked it. Hearing you say that is like a giant weight off. lol. Well, I just have one thing to say in response to this chapter. What were you so afraid of? That was an AWESOME way to follow behind Sarah's last chapter.
Ok. I lied. I have more than just one thing to say. I'm glad that they are "together" for the time being, but I am anxious to see what happens when Mac really DOES find out that the AA has been Brian all along.
And I must admit, I've had a sneaking suspecion that the AA was kind of corrupting Brian for awhile now. The way you described his feelings on power and justice - it kind of felt like the AA was taking over his thoughts.
Great job, as always. Keep up the good work, you two!

OMG! Is it true? Is this really an update? I can't tell you how glad I am to know you two are still writing this story. I must admit, it is one of my favorite stories on AC.
And now, it's getting really juicy and the suspense is building. Brian knows that Mac is investigating Avenging Angel, and they both feel like they're acting to deceive the other. And yet, it all comes so naturally to the lovebirds. Yikes! Drama, drama, drama.
BTW, Sarah, that was an AWESOME update. =) Well worth the wait! Hopefully there will be more updates in the future.

Yeah, that went pretty much the way I figured it would. Not the whole Baylee getting in on the situation, but the whole Nick ignoring the consequences of his actions. That's pretty much exactly what he's like now, so why would he be any different 21 or 22 years from now.
Great job. I am excited that Baylee's in on it now. Now we just need Howie and AJ's kids to join, and it's a Backstreet Baby conspiracy. Hopefully, though, Baylee will be able to come up with some ideas.
