Last Chapter to catch up... I cant believe that happened...Im glad that Alyssa and Nick decided to talk about their situation but it makes me so upset that Alyssa asked Nick to not tell Sean about him being the dad and to let Sean be that! I know that she thought that having Nick be the godfather would keep him a part of the babys life but I think that just ended up hurting Nick more! I dont wanna blame Alyssa completely beacuse how is she suppose to know that Nick would want to be the father even if it meant everyone finding out about what happened between them! Nick could of also told her straight up that he wanted to take care of the baby and be its dad... but I feel so bad for him still! Then stupid drunk Nick had to go and call Shayla, I know hes hurt going back to be with Shayla isnrt going to make it better, its just going to complicate the situation more! Im thinking that the baby is going to look just like Nick and maybe it will be obvoius that Sean isnt the dad... Grrr, its just so complicated! Great job on it all so far mel and Im dying for an update already!

Author's Response: Thank you SOOOO much Thia for getting caught back up and leaving all the awesome freviews! It's REALLY inspiring. Yea... the story is definitely at its height of complication probably about now, but don't count them out either. There's plenty more planned throughout Alyssa's pregnancy. It's just a really tough situation for everyone involved and I'm glad that you see both sides of it. I'm dragging my feet a bit on the next chapter since its mostly filler, but I'll try to update again soon.

Im glad that at least Alyssa and Nick were okay with eachother at Howies's wedding... haha that would have been scandalous if they hooked up in the church at Kevins wedding, I could imagine Nick doing it but not Alysaa... Wow, they actually hooked up, it shouldnt surprise me because I know when theyre around eachother there is a MAJOR attraction there! It most of been horrible for both to have just hooked up with eachother and then get the call that Katie had an accident! Major Guilt! Great Job Mel!!!

Author's Response: LOL Yea that whole idea was actually born out of a very interesting convo Teri and I had that was misinterpreted. She thought I meant that they'd hooked up IN church and I was like OMG no! LOl So i had to add it in. And yea it definitely laid a very large guilt trip on both Nick and Alyssa abot Katie which you'll see more in future chapters. Thanks a lot sweetie!

Oh Gosh! Im so glad the baby's okay! It would have been so sad if anything happened! Alyssa cant risk handling those probs. that come up now, its better that her TA handle it... Its so crazy how Nick is being there and supporting her with everything! Hopefully Alyssa realizes that hes changed and can be there for her and thae baby, and maybe its worth giving themselves another chance! But then again thats to easy, right? lol! Yay, a baby girl Carter! Im so excited! lol... Great job as always Mel!

I think Alyssa has definitely learned her lesson and will let Donna handle the meltdowns from now on. She can't risk anything happening to the baby. Nick is definitely trying to show her he's serious, but it might take Alyssa a little longer to come around completely and of course Sean complicates matters. And yea it's a girl :)

All caught up, yay! Oooh Sean made Alyssa mad! this must be so weird having her husband not agree with her yet Nick is supporting her no matter what she decides... she should think about that! Its good that Nick is cooling it down a bit that way Alyssa doesnt think that hes taking advantage of her situation. Yay they went out to dinner... theyre being more and more like a couple.. Alyssa is being so much foward now and I think that surprises Nick but like it too! Oohh such a good cliffhanger with the kiss and leaving together holding hands... I need an update soon! Youre doing such a great job with ALTOS Mel, I know writing about this side of Alyssa is new for you but its AMAZING so far!

Author's Response: Yea it definitely is hard and it of course is pushing her more and more towards Nick who supports her no matter what she decides. That is also a good point about him cooling things down. I hadn't thought of it in quite that way before, but you are right. Alyssa is definitely more bolder than usual although I think the hormones are a big part of that too lol. I definitely think Nick has no complaints though. It wasn't supposed to be a cliffy, but that's how it wound up. I'm going to try to get the next part out soon, but i have papers to grade and plans to write and then tomorrow night I'm finally getting to go see Sex in the City. So depending on how tired I am maybe mid week. We'll see though. I'm SOOOO glad you're enjoying it Thia! Alyssa has actually been very hard to write these past few "hormonal" chapters because it feels almost like a new character, so I'm glad that you seem to be getting it.

OMG Mel!!!! So I havent been able to review the past few chaps but Im all caught up now and am in shock after this chap! Please let Alyssa be okay, I dont think Alyssa could deal with losing Zoey! Neither would Nick especially this being the 2nd daughter he loses! I really hate Shayla, although the plan wasnt to push Alyssa she should have known when she decided to confront her at such a tense moment that anything could happen! At least the evening worked to bring Nick and Alyssa back to speaking terms but now everything is hanging... AMAZING job Mel, I dont think anyone would of been able to pull the storyline together and have it unfold so perfect just like you did! Update soon!

Thia!!! It's nice to hear from you again! Don't worry about not reviewing every chapter. You picked a good point to get caught back up again anyway. I'm not making any promises about Alyssa's condition, but I agree that losing Zoey would be devestating for both her and Nick. In the next chapter we'll get into how Shayla feels about the incident, but obviously she didn't intend to hurt Alyssa as much as to shake her up a little. Boy did she get a surprise, huh? You're right... She should've known better that a situation that heated could only end in trouble, but in case you haven't noticed Shayla's gone a little off the deep end. I know things with Alyssa and Nick are still up in the air and it all depends on the events of the next few chapters. I'm glad you enjoyed it Thia! I was a little scared that the scene was too dramatic for me to pull off in a believable fashion.

Wow...I figured this would end up happening and I was just waiting for it to, but when it actually did it's still shocking!!! You did such a great job on this chapter, you got Nick and Spencer to sleep together while he's still with Cara, without making me angry at Nick for cheating(the biggest no ever) just because you can tell that Nick and Spencer feelings for eachother are so true and are meant to be together... I'm sensing Sydney has feelings for Mason as well with her feeling a little jealousy towards the redhead..lol...they would be so cute together... can't wait for the drama that is to come along!!! Awesome job once again!

Wow... I can't belive Spencer is going to be staying at Nick's house(Sydney is very sneaky, lol)!! They are going to have a whole week of eachother, hmmm...this might get a little interesting, could this probably change the wedding plans? Can't wait to find out, awesome job, update soon!

So I just read all 10 chapters and all I can say is that this is such an awesome story so far! It is so difficult to take sides on this story becaues Brian and Leslie REALLY like eachother and it seems they should be together, but at some point I can't tell if maybe this is just sort of an infatuation/lust situation or true soulmates... on the otherhand Leslie is good for Nick, he seems so happy and well with her.. I don't like the fact that all of this Brian/Leslie stuff is occuring behind his back cause I don't want to see poor Nick get his heart broken! Can't wait to see what is to come, great job!

They\'re all good people, so I think it makes it very real and hard. I don\'t want to see Nick get his heart broken either! Poor guy.
