Oh my... this is so hard! I dont want Leslie to give up on her and Brian! I understand why Leslie might be hesitant about it but they truly love eachother and although some people got hurt pretty badly, whats done is done...they should give eachother that chance! I hate that Leighane is being such a b***h when shes been lying to Brain all along about her "pregnancy", hopefully he finds out that thats a lie soon and maybe that will help him convince Leslie that they should give eachother a try... Author's Response: I agree completely! Leslie should give them a try but it's understandable why she's pulling back from it. It's a hard situation so it's only natural to have your feelings bouncing around and changing so drastically. I cant believe Leslie actaully went to talk to Nick, Im glad she did but its still takes alot of guts due to their situation. I felt so bad for both of thembut my heart was seriously breaking along with Nicks! I think that hearing Nick say that the way Brian talked about her was different from ever before might help convince Leslie to give herself and Brian another chance... as for I think hearing Leslie say that she loves Brian hurt him a lot but at the same time he came to understand that it wasnt just a sex fling but that they actually maybe fell in love with eachother. I know it hurt him to hear it but maybe hearing Leslie say that she loved him too helped him understand that Leslie and Nick did love eachother as well but just in a differnet way/different level... I think maybe when time begins to heal Nicks broken heart he may be able to forgive both Brian and Leslie and hopefully fix their friendship, I now have hope after the conversation he had Leslie. Maybe Brian should try and talk to Nick like Leslie did when theyre both ready and everything has settled down. You did an AMAZING job Dani, I was shedding tears along with Nick, it was beautiful!

Author's Response: It did take a lot of guts for Leslie. To be honest, this chapter wasn't planned at all. I was orginally just going to have Leslie leave without talking to Nick, but I didn't think that would be right. I wanted to show Nick's side in all of this, and what better way to do that then to see his heartbreak clearly face to face with the woman who betrayed him? Plus I knew Leslie wouldn't be able to leave without at least "trying" to explain herself. I'm so happy you loved this chapter Thia! It's definitely one of my favs by far :) I'll have more up soon... sorry it's been so long :(
