Good update and I'm excited for the final 2 chapters and the sequel. I am OVER depressed/unstable Alyssa and the therapy sessions. I can't wait till the story picks back up and everything is about them again.

Author's Response: Thank you for you honesty. To tell you the truth so am I which is probably why these last few chapters have been so slow to churn out. My next chapter was SUPPPOSED to be my last, but one of my betas pointed out that I probably needed at least another chapter. Next one hopefully should not be AS long and it will have a therapy scene, but it'll be a more positive one. Thanks for reading!

Okay I just started reading this story and I am all caught up now, within 2 days of reading,lol.

Anyway, this is the first story I've ever read that Nick doesn't get the girl; and I do have to say I like this story. When I first started reading this I didn't know what to expect, except I was hoping that things would change and that nick would get the girl.

I absolutely love love love the songs you used in chapter 12, I love them so much I d/l them and I listen to them when I read now.

I do like how you have this story going, except its been hard to picture Leighanne as a villan,lol. Also trying to see Brian trying to do something like this, especially to Nick! I really wish that things between Nick & Leslie would work, but I'm interested to see what you have up your sleeve.

Keep up with the updating, this is a great story you have!

Author's Response: I get so excited when new readers review! I'm glad you like the story :) Sorry Nick kinda got the shaft in this story. Poor guy. I'm happy you didn't write off the story because of that lol. And you just made my day by mentioning the songs in Chapter 12! Aren't they awesome? I love 'em to pieces :) I didn't start out trying to make Leighanne a villain in any way, but as the story progressed, I had to give somewhere because too many people were getting hurt, and I needed to add some spice and drama to Leslie and Brian's relationship. Leighanne was the cliche easy pick lol. Thanks so much for the review Sweetheart! I'm updating soon!

I have a really terrible reputation for writing and not finishing things; you'll be able to tell that just by looking at the long list of stories under my name that haven't been finished =/. A lot of people seemed to enjoy my story titled "My Girl". That's probably the piece I'm most proud of on this site, mainly because I was able to finish it. Its short but sweet. I can't wait to see what does happen to them once she does move out and he goes on tour. It will be interesting to see if he thinks about her and what he'll do. I can already tell that she's in love with him again :)

Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, it'll definitely be interesting, that's for sure. I kind of have an idea as to where I want to head with the plot but I'm not 100% sure just yet. She definitely is starting to have weird feelings towards him again. She's not even sure what she's feeling just yet. I'll try to update ASAP! Today was the first day back for the spring semester, so I'm getting adjusted to being in class again. One of my main goals is to finish this story, lol. It might be a bit - I know I'm no where near the end right now. But we'll see how it goes! I can tell ya one thing, reviews help IMMENSELY! They keep me writing, that's for sure. This chapter was good, it was was nice to finally see Quinn step up and take control. Nice of her to actually put some effort into her relationship with Nick for once.

You have my deepest sympathies for experiencing anything remotely similar to this in real life, Brittany.  I hope it gets better for you.  I have been there in a way too, and so have many of my friends.  A lot of this story is actually based on things that I have experienced or they have.  I hope things get better for you soon.

I'm so sorry for the wait on this, lots going on in my life lately that has prevented me from writing.  But, I do hope the next update comes much sooner than this one did.  You are right, the next chapter will most likely be very emotional and I hope that it will shed some light on why Quinn is the way she is.  This is a HUGE turning point in the story in many ways, both Nick and Quinn are surrounded by walls, they are the same in many ways if you really think about it!

Good update! I love how you wrote the boys into this chapter. Other than AJ we don't really hear about any of the others. I also like how Nick is planning something big for her birthday (and I can't wait to read how it unfolds.)It was really big of him that he invited Jake; I just hope Jake doesnt turn out to be the villian in this story and ruin Quinn & Nick.

You are so right, the story is mostly about Nick and Quinn, the other boys (besides AJ), aren't even really supporting characters.  They will appear here and there a little more, especially once the tour begins.  Nick is "Mr. Grand Gestures" these days and what he is doing for her is really special.  I don't really picture Jake as a villian, maybe a little scorned because he lost the woman he loved, but he geniunely does care for Quinn.  Him losing Quinn really doesn't have anything to do with Nick, their relationship was long over when Quinn and Nick started their thing.  We will have to see how it all plays out, Jake will be around for a while though...

GREAT UPDATE!!!!

I love how he was able to keep the suprise from her and not give into her when she simply kisses him or something.

This was a cute chapter, I like how you wrote the party scene and how you took them back to the place they met. I do not like Jake though. Then again I really don't like ex's coming back.

I really wished she would've of said the "L" word to him in this chapter that would of been a great ending to the chapter and also a great cliff hanger.

Come on, what fun would it be if she said it THIS chapter!   Remember, we still have somewhere around 15 chapters to go in this story.

Nick does have a tendency to give in to Quinn, but if you notice, he is starting to be the one more in control of things these days...in many ways, he is driving and Quinn is just following his lead.  What happened in Vegas really changed the dynamic in their relationship...
