Hi! My name is Melissa, but most of my friends call me Mel for short. I've been writing fan fiction on and off since I was 16 and I'm now almost 23, so I've definitely came a LONG way in my writing lol. Still though I've yet to ever finish anything. (Well outside of two stories WAAAY back but they were horrible! lol) I live in NY about an hour from NYC and I'm going to school to become an elementary/ special ed teacher.I've been a fan of BSB since I was 15 and Nick has always been my favorite. I've had the pleasure of meeting Brian, AJ, and Nick in the past, but the only one I have a picture is with AJ.

First off Nick dressed as a cowboy? *dies* Ok, but seriously onto the stoy now lol... I think this is a REALLY orginal idea and it's so well written. You really have came a long way as a writer Erika! Looks like AJ's gotten himself in quite a pickle! Why do I have the bad feeling that Don is going to send someone after him and he's going to wind up endangering Crystal and Nick?

Thanks wow, I'm so flattered that you say that, I've really been trying and I do have to give Kristal (alota_cookin) her props for helping me get the idea out of my head and letting me brainstorm with her. Wow this is a complicated situation... I have to agree that if Mycki was going into things with Nick thinking they were gonna have sex cuz he was in love with her she was seriously delusional and i do kinda blame her because she had to know what to expect. In the end it was HER choice to go through with it. I'm not sure if I buy this Nick recognizes her because he felt something more with her. How was she ANY different from any other groupie? Mycki herself even said that she wasn't THAT good in bed lol. Wonder how this is all going to turn out?

Oooh very interesting premise Brandy! Now I am full of questions... Why would someone bomb Louisianna? Was anywhere else in the country bombed? Where exactly did the bomb land? How devestating were the effects? This should get very interesting. I am also VERY curious to find out about Nick's past and what he did that forced him into the military.

My only critique is that I'm not a fan of the shifting from 3rd person to first person. I think that it would flow better if you stuck with one POV. Also you had a small typo in the last chapter. You referred to Jennifer as Jessica. I know those damn J names would get me too LOL. Excellent work and I can't wait to read more!



Author's Response: Hold your horses Melly!!! ALL of those questions will be answered very soon!!!!LOL!!! Thanks for the suggestion about sticking with one POV, and I think I am probably going to do that. I have never written in a first person POV and I was just giving it a little try. However, I always find myself wondering what the other characters are think when I read a first person POV, so I will probably stick with third person. Thanks for catching that typo....I went back and corrected it....HMMMMM, maybe Darby was right....getting a BETA might not be a bad idea!

Finally got to checking this one out cuz it REALLY sounded interesting and I am not disapointed. I love the insights and backgrounds to all the different characters and love the way that they are all coming from different backgrounds. It really does seem like a good sampling of America. I think I know where this is going though and if it is I am VERY excited! I had been tossing around an idea like this, but with all the characters it was overwhelming for me, so I can't wait to see what you do with this.

Oh yea and I already like completely identify with Gretchen LOL

It's cool that you gave it a chance and are enjoying it so far - we appreciate it! :) I know I could never manage a story like this on my own; it's the kind of story that works well as a collab because we can split the ten characters among three of us. You can probably guess who Gretchen's contribution was LOL. Write what you know, right? =P We did try to vary the backgrounds of our characters, while staying true to the Boys in an AU sense, and I'm glad it comes across as a good sampling. I'm sure it could be better, but it works for us. Anyway, I hope you keep reading, and thanks again for the nice review! :)

Wow so basically everyone who died is now going to come back as zombies and try to kill the survivors? Completely NOT what I was expecting at all. This should definitely change the course of the whole story.

Not that the whole zombie apocalypse idea is at all original, but it isn't something you see much in Bsb fanfic, so we're glad it has kept you guessing. That was actually a pretty cool challenge I thought. I am really liking this story, but then again one of my guilty pleasures in life was Rock of Love, which I just realized that Season One is streaming on Netflix... Anyway I digress. I was always surprised that someone didn't write a fan fic involving Nick being on a bad VH1 dating show, so I'm really happy to read this! Can't wait for more!
